Every family is so rich in this ad. I mean, they casually invest 4-5lacs on gold Jewellery. I can’t afford a small jhumka or pendent for Diwali.

When I can’t afford brand name or even gold and diamond are passed on by my husband and mom side. I always think did my husband get himself brand name watch or gold jewelry every Diwali/Eid??? Can he afford for himself??? Than why am I expecting gold every Diwali?? Just owning some sets is enough it is on higher end. And frankly speaking man that buy such expensive stuff for women are big “Fit in status wimps”. I would not go for such a fit in boy.
On not being able to buy a jhumkha you making yourself sound desperate and poor me. It’s just another form of metal like diamond which is on higher end not everyone has it or could afford.

Who is the person behind such adds. When I see a recommendation for any add I never watch it but when it’s Tanishq, it’s obvious that it’ll be an extremely heart touching one which brings tears as well as smile on the face.

Gold or any precious gift does not bring the spark, love and cooperation from family and friends brings it. Good commercial, still a provocation to unnecessary consumerism.

@Vinit Deshpande we go to pubs and restaurants for the ambiance . You cannot have the same ambiance ever at home.
In a pub or restaurant . You sit and food and drinks are served . You pay the bill and leave .
At home you cook , eat and do the dishes. 10 people eat and 2 people cook or clean the dishes . Never the same.
It’s how you priorities. We budget for pubs, parties instead of celebrating at home. It would be easy to buy with every month’s savings.

‘Massive’ difference between this ad and previous aao manaye. Here the jewellery is so much heavier and bigger. Implicity suggestion: buy big. Previous ad had subtler jewellery.
